Eye of the Storm

Eye of the Storm is Vibrance Mas' Carnival Monday experience, inspired by the legendary Peter Minshall. Each masquerader receives a length of white cotton fabric and a staff, creating their own unique interpretation of the costume through movement, creativity and expression. Together, we become one living artwork, representing the calm found at the centre of the storm. Beneath the spectacle lies a deeper message about the impact of climate change on our islands, while also exploring the "eye" as a symbol of perspective, perception and the glare of envy. It is a celebration of unity, resilience and hope in the face of life's storms.

Your experience includes creative workshops across London, where you'll learn different ways to style your fabric and have the opportunity to print or paint a small section with patterns inspired by the Eye of the Storm theme. Your registration also includes your white cotton fabric, staff, freshly prepared food, rum punch and an unforgettable day on the road with Vibrance Mas.
